JNVST Class 6 exam pattern, explained section by section

The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test for Class 6 has three sections: Mental Ability Test, Arithmetic Test and Language Test, in that order, with no break between them.

Mental Ability carries the most weight and rewards pattern recognition speed over raw calculation — timed practice matters more than memorising formulas here.

Arithmetic questions map closely to the Class 4–5 NCERT syllabus, so revising those textbooks directly is often faster than a separate coaching module.
