JNVST vs AISSEE vs RMS CET: which entrance exam fits your child?

Parents often ask which of the three entrance exams to prioritise. Here is a quick comparison of what actually differs.

Cost

JNV is free, fully residential education. Sainik Schools and RMS charge fees, with concessions for defence families and certain categories.

Focus

Sainik Schools and RMS lean toward a disciplined, semi-military environment; JNVs follow the standard CBSE residential model without that emphasis.

Difficulty

All three test similar foundational skills at Class 6, so preparation for one substantially covers the others — the difference is mostly in exam-day pattern and timing.
