A parent's checklist for exam day: what to carry and what to skip

Most exam-day problems are avoidable with a short checklist prepared the night before.

Carry

Printed admit card, an original photo ID, a few passport-size photographs, and only the stationery permitted by the exam's instructions — usually a blue or black ballpoint pen and a basic geometry box if the pattern requires one.

Leave at home

Phones, smartwatches, and any printed material are not allowed inside the exam hall and are best left in the car rather than carried and confiscated at the gate.
