RMS Common Entrance Test: eligibility and age limits for 2027

Rashtriya Military Schools admit through the RMS Common Entrance Test at two entry points: Class 6 and Class 9.

Age limits

Applicants are assessed on their age as of the exam year's 1st of July — check the official notification each year, since the exact cut-off dates can shift by a few days.

After the written exam

Selection also includes an interview and a medical examination, so preparation shouldn't stop the day the written test ends.
